The dining area overlooks the ocean passage. The table seats 6. There are extra leaves to expand the table to seat 12. Extra chairs are found throughout the house.
In the kitchen there are plenty of place settings, trivets and dinnerware to dress the table.
The luxury San Juan Islands home is decorated with paintings and carvings by the owners and other islanders and captures the multifarious style of Lummi Island, Washington State. The living room has a gas log fire place, comfortable sofa and fantastic views through the glass paneled ocean side of the house.
Now featuring a smart tv, allowing you to stream your favorite shows on your own Netflix, Prime and YouTube accounts.
The kitchen features a microwave, double oven, gas cook top, and dishwasher. There is a large Subzero refrigerator and numerous pots, pans and other gadgets to meet your creative needs.
A granite topped bar in the center of the kitchen houses the gas cooktop with seating on the backside. You could never be alone cooking at Lummi Island Beach Haven.
At the kitchen sink that overlooks the San Juan Islands you will find a special tap for filtered drinking water, tested annually by Culligan.
In the kitchen cabinets you should find a selection of condiments, some flour, oil, tea, coffee, etc. We welcome you to make use of what is there and are invite you to replace or add to the collection before leaving.
The cabinets are stocked with a variety of glasses and coffee cups. There are plastic glasses and plates available for outdoor dining. And then moving outside please enjoy the glass-top dining table. There you will also find a full-size gas barbeque grill.
Outside the surrounding deck is faced with glass panels allowing views of the San Juan Islands and the shipping channel while blocking cool ocean breezes.
Lummi Island Beach Haven guests will enjoy the variety of lounge chairs, dining table and chairs and large gas barbeque grill.
The yard is planted with luscious clematis, rhododendrons and other perennials. Across the front lawn, a stairway leads to a beach deck and the beach. The beach on Lummi Island is private and only accessible via private access. During low tide one can easily walk a mile or more in a northerly direction, being mindful of private property boundary’s.
Lummi Island Beach Haven has smart TV’s in the living room and entertainment room. The large screen in the living room connects to Netflix and Amazon movie streaming. Guests may enjoy the collection of books and games in the entertainment room. Binoculars and telescope are available to gaze at the shipping lanes and the San Juan Islands. The Internet service is wireless.
Lummi Beach Haven Welcomes Wheelchair Travelers
This San Juan Island vacation rental has a wheelchair ramp available at your request. The wheelchair ramp is sturdy construction, with a non-slip surface and fastened to the house and removed when not in use. The main floor is hardwood and low pile carpet. There is access to 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and front deck area. The master bath has a walk-in shower with a hand wand, shower chair and multiple grab bars.
BEDROOMS
There are four bedrooms at Lummi Island Beach Haven, two ground floor bedrooms and two upper floor bedrooms plus the Entertainment room which accommodates 3 more guests. Lummi Beach Haven dresses all the beds with hypo-allergenic bedding and hotel quality sheets.
Main Floor
The Master Suite
This en suite is on the main floor, featuring a king size bed, electric fireplace and glass sliders that open onto a private nook on the front deck, overlooking the ocean.
The en suite bath is spacious with a walk-in shower with dual shower heads and a bench. The bathroom counter features double sinks.
The closet has hangers and extra bedding. Also a spacious dresser for your other things.
First floor twin beds

The second main floor bedroom, is filled with an eclectic display of original paintings and hosts a pair of twin beds.
The guest washroom is directly across the hallway. Extra pillows and bedding for this room is found in the hall closet.
This room has 2 large picture windows and a skylight.
Upper Floor
The Peacock Room
On the upper floor, the Peacock Room is set up with a king-size bed. This bedroom features a beautifully embroidered peacock art piece from which the name is derived.
This room has both a spacious closet and dresser. There is extra bedding and pillows on the closet shelf. A Pak-n-Play is also in this closet.
The Peacock Room has a window facing the water.
Second floor king bed
The Orca Room
The other bedroom upstairs, The Orca Room, featuring orca wall art, has a cozy queen sized bed.
The furniture is a locally made oak ensemble which includes 2 spacious dressers. There is also a closet.

The Entertainment Room
Upstairs separating the 2 bedrooms is a spacious communal area. It is home to a built-in padded window bench that was designed to sleep three adult persons. The padded cushions make into 3 comfortable, standard-size, single beds, in a head-to-toe configuration. Full sets of linens are stowed in a convenient location. Suitable for both children and adults.
The entertainment room also has a smart TV connected to wifi, and DVR/VCR and Wii. There is an interesting collection of books and games and a large game table and chairs.
The second floor has an ample-sized bathroom with tub/shower configuration, large window and skylight.
